Bernstein PRA 30 - The sound and special features

The PRA 30 is an FM/AM radio which can be operated as a sound station for your iPod, MP3 and CD player thanks to its 3.5 mm universal input. (iPod®/iPhone®/iPod-Dock not included!)

The tonal quality of the PRA 30 stems from the various harmoniously combined attributes. In contrast to most radios of its size the PRA 30 is housed in a strong, low-resonance, wooden enclosure.

The outstanding properties of this material are well known and remain unsurpassed in the construction of high-quality hi-fi speakers.

A further parallel to speaker construction lies in the use of the bass reflex system for high efficiency at low frequencies.

The inbuilt speaker is a full range design. A lightweight, doped paper cone operates in conjunction with a high-performance motor system using double magnets.

The speaker is activated by an integrated amplifier that was originally developed for use in the audio sector. All of these components have been coordinated to give a generous, full sound quality which ensures relaxing musical enjoyment. The analogue tuner is guarantees excellent reception thanks to the inbuilt telescopic aerial.
